My crow season doesn't start til the 1st of Sept but I got one today. Actually, I tried to avoid it..........didn't work. There were four on the road, when I was driving home from going fishing for trout. Three took off to the left, one took off to the right.......right into my fender. All I saw in the rearview mirror was a puff of feathers floating. No damage to the bumper. Just a blood smear that washed off clean.
If you celebrate...have a happy/good father's day.

If you can't fix it with a hammer...try duct tape.
Pat crows are mighty smart birds and road killed crows are few and far between. Only time I have ever see them dead at the roadside from auto collisions are when the young start to fledge around this time of the year. Takes the young a while to figure out the automobile thing and a few meet an early end doing so.

Extremely rare to hit a crow with a vehicle. I only saw two years apart and always in early summer so that tells us right off the top it was that years crow and only a few months old.
