It has been awhile since I have posted here . I will be moving to Nebraska and wanted to know how the crow hunting is there . What is there seasons and limits ?
Your 20 to 25 years to late for Nebraska, it was never fantastic but still worth a trip up there. On a good day you could shoot a couple of hundred. Funk Nebraska had a good sized roost with four flyways (perhaps 100,000 crows in that roost) leading to it. The roost moved in the late 1980's. The best Boyd Robeson & I ever did up there was a shoot on the Platte River 20 miles north of Holdrege Nebraska. The two of us shot over 600 crows on a good flyway shoot during the afternoon hours. Shoots like that are few and far between, you need the right weather conditions such as the right wind for the spot you are in and also to have the birds strung out over a period of hours.

Thank you Bob . Hunting in Ca. with a 24 bird limit going to no limit will be nice . Is this still the same with no limit in Nebraska ? I will be living in Omaha and looking forward to the move there .
