Crow Skins?

Hello, I am a Lakota Powwow dancer looking for a Crow skin. Crow Owners Society is an extinct war society that tried to mimic a Crows straight and swift flight pattern to shoot their arrows in the same straight and swift way. The dancer in the middle has a Crow skin wrapped around his neck. I want to do something similar. I am looking for a crow skin with pretty undismayed feathers, both wings, feet, and the head in good condition. I imagine I would need it preserved and cut down the middle of the belly so I can sew it back up with deer sinew. 909-643-3457

Hello Littleswan,

Most of the season in the US are closed for crow at this time, so getting some skins may take some time. I would suggest re-posting your request in the main forum for other's to read as this area is not as frequented by the board members.

Good luck on your quest,

John

The vast majority of the season in the US are shut for crow at this point, so getting a few skins may take sooner or later. I would recommend re-posting your appeal in the principle discussion for other's to peruse as this territory is not as frequented by the board parts.
