Absolutely. Good to be out and about in the field. smile

I noticed the absence of a complete whiteout in the background. I hope that means a hint of spring is now in your area.

My M12 is bored and will be until 1 August here in MI.

M12: A fine brace of corvus aviators was my first thought till I spied white body feathers and the irridecent green tail of what must be a very rare crow. I would say to the game warden, it responded to my crow call therefore it  must be a crow.  NOT GUILTY.. next case!!

Hi Ted,

Nice photo and, as usual, professional use of the classic 16 gauge pump!

Take care,

Magpies are close relative sof the crow and no different than any other corvide relative.

Yes gentleman, the chamelion pictured in the centre is indeed a magpie. They come in well to crow calling but race in to rabbit in distress sounds. One cannot shoot a deer in these parts without a pair of these cunning corvids watching patiently over your shoulder just waiting for a chance to eat the tenderloins out of your killevileye.
