Something very strange at my house

I used to use the mouth call and piss off about 8 crows that live in my area.  They would circle the house making all kinds of noise. Well for the past three weeks I have had one crow that sits in the trees around my house and every time I go outside he starts to call. I have recorded him he is that loud. My wife did nt believe me and we both stepped out on the back porch and he started up. He sits there for hours at a time, I think he is telling the others I am a real a--hole so bug the crap out my my house. Any one else ever hear of any thing similar. I do not own pellet  or air rifle or he would be a goner. JIm

Your crow that is staying in the same area for hours is staking out his territory.

M.D.

That is a fledgling piebald crow in that film clip. Interesting to look at, thanks for posting it.

I was feeding a pair of crows in my back yard for a few weeks, they had a nest a few hundred yards away from my house. Papa crow became so dependent on me, that he would sit on my chimney every morning at sunrise, and caw aggressively until I brought out some food. My wife called him our rooster. I went on vacation, and when I came back, he had weened himself and the early morning cawing has ceased... thank God!

Buddy of mine lives in town, he went out and started messing with a local crow with his call. That crow took up residence near his house a pestered him for weeks afterward.
