My crow hunting buddy Brian and I hunted yesterday morning. We went to a big pecan orchard surrounded by crop fields. This year the farmer planted peanuts. The farmer started rolling them up a couple of weeks ago but had to stop until we get some rain. The ground was like concrete.

Yesterday's weather was windy and overcast.

Our shooting could dang sure have been better but we managed to put 76 down. The high winds really let birds get out of range fast. There wasn't near as many birds in the area as we had expected. Guess we are a little early yet.

Barry,

Congrats on the hunt, like the pic.
Thanks for letting me know how you were doing, kinda made me feel I was there. I will get back with you about that large orchard strategy we talked about, hoping to see them this weekend.
