Out again this morning at first light, 20 or so minutes north of headquarters. Slow start but the task at hand got going... and by 08:05 I had 17 bandits down. Missed a few, all killed with 12 gauge, 1 oz # 7 1/2 shot I/C. Knocked a few more down by 09:00 and was home making a coffee by 10:00. Finished with about 22 good crows give or take a few as with all the excitement I kind of lost count!biggrin Pics of some of the kill as recovery futile due to wet summer last and hay was not cut. My blind location at sunrise as well.

Very nice!

Unless I'm mistaken, have you used this location before--different time of year, perhaps?

Great hunt! You keep this up and I'm going to take a bath in bug repellant and try some of these rascals down here in the Run & Gun style. Well I would if the fish would stop biting smile

Sweet! Do you have both 12gauge and 16 gauge Model 12's that you use? Nice guns and nice crop of crows! Our season ended March 31st!

Good report!

I always enjoy the look of hard working guns with much of the finish worn off. Just imagine the stories they could tell...

Thank you gentlemen for the commentary. OA, this blind location has been used by myself for probably 20 years. It is on public or " crown" land as we say here in Canada. Can't imagine the countless hundreds of crows I have killed from this location.

Honkers, that M12 belonged to my father. It has traveled from the Arctic Circle to Kingston Jamacia...and yes , if it could tell stories.

Wooddog, I shoot both 12 and 16 ga M12's. 16's are so very sweet to shoot. Ammo selection is poor and prices for are rediculous.
