Got a call couple days ago from one of the landowners , he's ready now for us to start. Told him we would be there as soon as we took care of some things. This got me calling my other landowners and only have a few more to contact. So finally it's almost here. Got the shells loaded, gear needs to be checked which shouldn't take but a few hours. Looking forward to this year, grandson opted out of sports his senior year to work harder on college prep work, so he will have more opportunity to hunt with me and my son. Have picked up a couple more spots to hunt and one of them I think could be exceptional. So a lot of positives going in and hopefully we can get on some crows that aren't very smart.
I'm excited myself Butch! I'm retiring in 4 days. I will have so much time to scout! I have always wondered how it would be to have an entire crow season without having to worry about work! It should be a blast. We had an outstanding hatch of local birds as well.
