Hi again :)

Hi, sorry for having been away so long, but wasn't much doing here due to extreme rain fall.

However, managed to get a few new permissions, and one has a daily visit of several hundred crows, the other a daily visit of several THOUSAND crows.

Also pigons and magpies on the scone permission.

Rain has stopped play, as couldn't get on the fields as they were like swamps (farmers wouldn't like it if I left tracks through barley and wheat, or oats)

i purchased a silenced o/u for use around townies houses (where fields are near them) but can only get subsonics for it in 8 shot at the moment :(

might as well fly swat our crows with that LOL. Would be okay on close pigeon, but our crows need 4-5 generally, even 6 leaves a lot of wounded birds.

Most shots here are in the 30-50 metres/yards range, and even on decoys it's rare to get them closer than 20-25 before they break away

still, I have the faithful Beretta A400 12ga semi auto, and that's still knocking them down with around 1,000 36gr #4 and 34gr #5 :)

getting the odd 20-30 a day with driving around the farm yards, and also get another 10-20 with an air rifle in the barns each evening too.

once the weather dries, I will maybe get out and get some Decoying done and do them serious damage

heres some typical english decoying patterns for pigeon or crow, or both together
