Now this would be great for getting around in deep mud.
I wish I had the photos handy, but I've seen these and also armored vehicles (tracks) stuck above their hubs (hulls) in mud and at what was "said to be the fording point" in the creek/river.

Nice pictures Bob. That's what I want...a pet crow. Im just to chicken to climb way up there to steal the eggs! I did have a pet crow for a summer, back in 73 I think. And yes it did have a band on its leg.

Gmochty, I had a pet crow in South Dakota that a neighborhood kid shot with an air rifle. I was In High School at the time, I gave that kid a licking when our path's crossed after school!
Pet crows are cool. Mine tried talking all the time, wasn't really good at it. He laughed very time I crashed my peddle bike. They can make some weird sounds. Someday I'll get another one.
Hello Honk, that photo was taken in 1978 in Stafford County Kansas. The color one of Boyd looking through the binocks was taken in Reno County Kansas in 1983.
The first photo was taken of Jim Lundquist in the early 1980's on a cold winter morning. He was using his 16 gauge model 870 Wing Master Remington. He just used Improved Cylinder with a one ounce load of 7 1/2's or 8's. This photo was taken about 15 minutes from my home in Hutchinson in the early 1980's.
