1st Hunt this Fall

Grandson an I got after them this A:M and had a blast! (pun intended). A good challenging hunt to knock the rust off. Crows were green but not stupid. From what I know most of the dead were not young, some looked past retirement age. Anyway we shot so-so and managed to pick up 53 and of course we hurt severals feelings real bad. So 1st hunts in the books and hopefully it gets better as the weather cools, it was 72 at daybreak  and close to 90 when we packed it in. Hot an muggy but still a great time with the young man who impressed me today on what he has learned and put into practice.   Sorry no pics, he took a couple and maybe I can get them later and post.

Butch,

Remember: "It didn't happen if you don't have pictures!" Push that kid to get you the photos. Being so early in the season, the rest of us are starving for fresh photos of good hunts, and this sounds like a perfect candidate!

Good hunt.

Demi

Jacob,

Hope they cooperate for you, down here this time of year it can be feast or famine. Look forward to a good report on your hunt.

Thanks you other Crowslayers it was fun to see the "crowsnow" again.

BH,

It's a Extension tube bracket, gun will hold 9 rounds. Very seldom do they miss opportunities to shoot because of reloading. Plus the best reason for it as eloquently put by the grandson " it's looks badd" biggrin
