In photos one and ten I am with my old pal Boyd Robeson.
Back in those days Boyd & I got good shooting (on crows) in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma. The way Boyd's four wheel drive looked it looked like he ran in to every tree between Iowa and Oklahoma! In photo ten that is Boyd & I hunting Magellan Geese in Argentina in 1991.
With me standing in the bow of the air boat, that was taken in Mexico back in 1987. Photo # 6 was taken in 1963 when I still lived on Long Island, New York. That is a Greater Scaup drake that the lab had just retrieved.
The first photo was an old black& white from 1974 my first crow season living in Kansas!
Photos #2, # 3 and 4 are in my backyard of my first home in Hutchinson. That crow loved liverwurst!
I would encourage any one to take plenty of photos, they are wonderful to have as the years go rolling bye.
10ga and I got a couple of time together in late January when the Maine season opened, we did pretty good for this time of year shooting about 35 birds total. Since then mother nature has crushed us with snow. We got 15 inches or so on Thursday and they are calling for 12 to 24 more inches in a blizzard that hits tomorrow afternoon. A ton of snow like this in February can keep us from getting out until late March and seasons end 3/31.
