Greetings Crowbusters!

Just a quick hunt report here.  I had the ability to go in late to work earlier this week so I took my 7 y/o daughter on a quick crow hunt.  Pics below.  I did not have a sizeable amount of birds scouted out but the hunt equation was good for a 7 y/o partner: it was a mild temperature, we were able to hide in standing corn, we were close to home, and it was ok if we went home early.

We shot 10 birds in 2 hours and started packing up at 8:30ish.  Perfect.  We both took naps when we got home.  smilesmile

Thanks O.A., Great post B.H. and I look forward to the day that little Lady is holding a shotgun with her first crow.

Glad you posted the report. It is always great seeing kids hunting or shooting. Hopefully she will continue to enjoy the outdoors for many, many years, especially with her Dad!

I just set the date for a crow hunt in October with my 34 yr. old son. He is in Colorado and I am in South Carolina. Here's hoping it will be as special as your hunt!

Hi Honk,

Your last photo I liked the best, you had better save your money for body guard security for that cute little gal in the years ahead. If I was her father I would not let her date until she was 18 years old!

I'm going for a record this season, gonna push hard. I have 9,000 trap loads stacked up and am going to buy about another 1,000 to 1,500 just to be safe.

Not to worry. It's worth it seeing both of you in action together, once again.

I see she still has the pink gloves. biggrin

That is awesome BH!!! I loved it when the kids were little and didn't mind doing things with "Dad".

Great pics!

Smiles for miles! Nothing beats seeing a young kid so excited to be on a hunt. Can't wait to get my son out this season for a few hunts as well.
