Up until last year I've always used a cassette player. My wife got me a Primos Alpha Dog for my birthday last year and it came with pre loaded sounds. Crow Frenzy, Crow attack etc. The one that has always worked the best for us is/was the death cry of a crow, crow in distress or what ever you wish to call it. The places we hunt are mostly pine thickets or pine plantations and we can turn that on and they come in low and looking to help and make for great shooting. My problem is I would like to download death cry of a crow to my new machine but can't find one anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any info...d2
You and I are in the same age bracket, so this could be a challenge... Best to find a young kid/computer wizard who can better help. The younger, the better!

Have you called & asked Primos ? I think they sell sounds for their callers. I'm with you on the death cry / crow distress. My icotec has it in a very long extended version and it does bring them in low. I also am to old to know how to get it to your SD ! Hopefully you will get assistance here.
I've got grand kids that can put it on my player, thank goodness, what I'm having trouble finding is more than a 3 second example of the crow in distress. I do appreciate the help...d2
I turned my JS cassettes into MP3 files for loading on my caller. I had an Alpha Dogg, but gave it away due to problems of it cutting out and locking up. It seemed to be related to cold weather conditions. Required restarting and re-pairing with handheld remote. I moved up to the Foxpro Sno-Crow Pro and loaded the files. The Alpha Dogg was good, I just don't think it can handle real cold conditions (below 32F). Even the Primos customer service was not successful in resolving my issue. I sent it to them & they could not reproduce the issue...
I also have the old Lynch 45rpms records that I'm going to convert one of these days. For the young'uns, a 45rpm is not a pistol caliber!
