Good thing Bob is here to get things generated. crow season starts in a week here and i cant wait. even though i was tempted all offseason by farmers telling me "we dont have laws out here" I stood my ground. Def like the looks of everything and got to spend some more time here now....howdy everybody/!! i cant remember my old username so i just made this one. I was a member since the end of 08.

I could not remember exactly what nickname I used with the old one, so I have a new one now related to the other bird I hunt. Still I like the new format and had to be done I suppose.

hi,

as for me...I've been fishing, practicing on my new crow call (gibson short mag), yard work, any thing else on the honey-do list. Today, just got back from the salt water. My son got two striped bass, neither of which met legal minimum length. Has to be at least 26 7/8 inches here. His were in the 20 inch range. As for me, I didn't catch any today. Fed them all my bait thought.

68 days until my crow season opens.

If you can't fix it with a hammer. Try duct tape.

Took this new improved forum as a chance to change my title from the former "Canuck" to "M12Shooter". I do love shooting vintage M12 Winchesters and have killed without a doubt 90 percent of my crows with the aforementioned!

I have a vintage Winchester model 50,the originial inertia drive auto,it has a 30" full choke barrel. I have killed a bunch of crows with that great shotgun, and my dad has the same exact shotgun in with a mod. barrel, matching set!!!biggrin

The board is always slow this time of the year.  A lot going on in the summer and very few places with crows in season.  It will pick up towards the fall.

And I am usually guilty of that myself. I normally would not be posting much if at all unless it is hunting season. For whatever reason this year, I just happen to be really looking forward to hunting again. It has been on my mind alot when I should be thinking about fishing this time of year instead.
