I want to thank you guys for you're kind words, I just got off the phone with Jerry's wife. Lisa said he wanted his ashes spread over his best spots in Maryland, New York State and Pennsylvania. His son and Lisa are going to do this early next month while the weather is still nice. A fitting tribute to an old die hard!

It is never easy to cope with the loss and absence of good friends and loved ones. It is something we all have to cope with and generally more of it as we grow older. Cherish the memories of good times and use their passing to remind yourself life is indeed short and we must live it and enjoy it while we have it.
I will never forget ole Jerry, his wife told me that he didn't want to upset me when he knew he only had a couple of weeks left to live. Think about it, he was dieing and he was thinking more of my feelings not his, he was a prince of a partner. You run across very few people like that in your own lifetime. Boyd my other partner that passed away in December of 2000 was a guy like Jerry. Boyd died at 73 and Jerry passed away at 71.
I'd like to think that my old pal Boyd Robeson was there to greet ole Jerry, and say to him, any friend of Bob is a friend of mine, now lets go kill some crows!

If the here after dosen't have crows and dogs I don't want to go there! Bert Popowski's idea of the here after was an unending supply of crows with a bottomless case of ammo!
Tell Darrel I send my regards.

My condolences Bob...I bet Boyd and Jerry will be watchin the fellas on this forum from on high, knockin a few crows down, and laughing and swapping hunting yarns !
If you go from site to site I doubt you will find a better bunch than right here ar Crow Busters. Thank you all for you're consideration.
Doug used a great word in his post, the word "revel" and that is very important when you loose anyone close to you. Jerry is in a better place now because his quality of life was zero for the past 3 to 4 months. There are only two ways to go in my book, either in you're sleep or out in the field with you're boots on!
Sincerely,
Bob A.

We can have dinner with John at the mexican joint or a decent place that I found down town where you can order anything from a chicken fried steak to sea food. I'll leave it up to you guys to decide.
