I shot this crow today..he had a good mix of white feathers on his wings...he was aggressive ...came whaling across a field about 20 feet off the ground sounding off...I had the bead on him a long ways off...finally he was right on top of me and I stood up...he hit the airbrakes and cut hard left...I swung and followed and went right by his head and touched off the M2000 and folded him:
No mount for this one...Im holding out for a really colored up bird...I have seen 4 different birds around where I live who had alot more white on them...I dropped one last year in the dang corn that was really white...couldnt find him anywheres...then theres still that one by my office lol...they have to be passing the gene along when breeding locally as I have never shot or seen a crow with white anywhere other then in this area.
I've only seen one with white wing tips, and it was shot by my cousin about ten years ago. I shot one about 7 years ago that had brownish speckles under tail feathers and a brown head. Good luck and if you get any more uniques post pics.

whatever i'm doing i'm thinking about crow hunting
Hi Matt, I shot one once with a little bit of white in its tail and then the one I mentioned above but couldnt recover. I had one really white one circling me 2 years ago but couldnt be sure it was a crow until I muted the FX3 then I heard it circling and cawing but I only had an over the water shot so I let it pass figuring Id get him another time then the landowner sold the land and the new owners dont allow hunting GGGGGGGGrrrrrrrrrr .
If you look real close at the 2nd picture, on the 9th feather from the left you can see some pellet holes in the feather.
I posted this on the old forum but this one has been hanging around my office for over a year hitting the bird feeders and peanuts the girls leave out for the chipmunks:
Nasty, how has the crow hunting been in your part of NH? Been a very slow year thus far with migrants jsut starting to show up in the last few days. I can't remember a year with so few birds killed for so many hours hunting. So far I have been out for a couple of hours to a half day for 30 days and shot 94 birds.
