had a good morning here in pa ended up with 11

Downed # were low but wind was strong and crows were coming in in big groups 7-25 at a time.
As I was picking up a big group came in and I couldn't get to the gun o well
I look at it as I left a few for seed.
I ended up counting 53 spent hulls

Got another group for tomorrow.

I would if I could join you. NW PA is a bit of a jaunt for me. I live in Northern VA. It looks like you had a great day.

Here's Sundays pics ended up with 12 man were they ski high all of a sudden you would see a speck then theyed lockem back and free fall into the decoys.
Shane I'll have you know both sat and sun blinds were made in the dark the morning of.
Pretty soon I will have blinds on all sides of every field I hunt so no matter what wind I should be able to get in good position. Or what crop is where.
This pic is of geese they liked this field too

this is the outside view of my 10 min blind

this is the inside of my hide I kind of sat right under the apple tree brantches to hide from over head view but could see out verry easy.

spread along with the fallen comrades of the ones that I missed headed south.

JD,
Great job and nice setup. I would love to join you some day...I was up in Utica (Venango county) last weekend but we were closing up our cottage for the winter so I didn't have plans to hunt. You and I chatted about doing a hunt sometime last year but we never followed up. If we combined our gear...we could get one heck of a setup!

I'll be up for deer season, starting Friday after Thanksgiving through the Monday deer opener. Maybe we can squeeze a hunt in on Saturday or Sunday that weekend? I've noticed that the spots I hit in the summer in NW PA tend to hold less crows once Nov starts...migrate out I guess but maybe between your spots and mine we can find enough crows to scratch out a hunt. If you have a good spot, we'll hit that and we'll follow up next July/August in mine as I know my spots hold shootable numbers once the crops are planted. Abbey will be with me...I know she would love to go.

Shoot me a private email we'll chat.

HH
