Today started out as a dud first stand from daylight to 9:00 1 bird then I decided to packer up and move I moved bout 10 miles. Stopped at the local store and picked up a soda and a sub. Set up shop round 10-10:15. that's the spread thought I had a pick of my 5 min blind but I guess I don't damn it was pretty rough too the mug shot ended up snacking a bit on my sub and shot 3 passer byers while filling my void. Then it started not mass numbers but just the black rain came as fast as I could load and shoot here they come pissed off too. So the first group had 10-15 in it and they snuck in on me first one down I let out a bellow from the mouth call as the rest are retreating mourning scream I would call it not morning call. They darn near barrel rolled out at 2-250 yds and here they came 15 ft in front of the blind for 5 min all I could do was blow shoot and reload they would barrage in small groups mod choke was too tight but i made do ended up with 12 in a hour. Then I had to be home o well loved every second of it.
I felt like a teenage boy on prom night goin for that first kiss when I got done with that barrage.

Majority of the shooting was like station 7 in skeet did not need mod choke and # 6 shot today I thought I would be reaching out there when it almost turned into self defense

O yeah look real close at the topbirds head that's "white wash" must be low on the totem pole in the roost 5 out of the 12 birds had some sort of white wash on em. I thought about getting my self an over and under to chase crows with but after today I'll stay with the auto.
Must have been the right day all across the country for black rain after reading some of the other posts. Congrats to all that busted some on Halloween.
