Plastic decoy repair

If any of you should break off the integral post a Flambeau crow decoy stands on, save the broken piece.  It can be successfully repaired with a hot glue gun and some black Fusion spray paint.  It appears to me to be as strong or even stronger than the original.

NH,
That sounds interesting,I too broke a stake out of a Flambeau crow decoy and Iended up just plastic soldered it back in place and it seems to be stronger than the original design. A good hot soldering iron does wonders on most all plastic repairs.

When that happens I just use them for hanging.

I cut them weak thinks off
Cut the belly out and drilled a hole near the hanger loop and use a wooden rod with a stop er on it to stand em up.
The wooden dowel rods stab into the terra firma pretty well.

Works for me I dont have any decoys sleeping on there sides half way threw a hunt.
