I just tried the CS-24L unit on crows. On the first shoot I shot 218 crows but one of the crows hit the limb that one of the speakers was in. I picked it up and it quit working. I pulled out the battery pack that holds the 10 AA batteries and found that from the shock of hitting the ground it knocked a couple of batteries loose. I just popped them back in and was back in business! So..... if any of you experience this problem with the CS-24 L unit you will know what to look for besides dead batteries.
On the next shoot I killed a whopping 79 birds and quit due to not enough action, but the CS-24 unit still worked very well and is a very slick little outsft!
