Yesterday I found and got permission for a property that had maybe 100 crows on it and maybe the same across the road in the trees. biggrin  There was also many in the field next to this propery(same owner). Decieded to leave them and come back today. Yesterday was sunny/overcast and today was light drizzle and fog. Only ended up with 3 down.  no  Never did see the mass amount like yesterday, only had maybe a dozen come in.  Left there about 10:00. I'm looking for information on if it was the fog, rain, left to early??? Planning on checking it out again on a clear day. Any thoughts?

I see the same thing, tons of birds 1 day & almost none the next day in the same spot. I don't get it, don't know that much about them I guess. Just when I think I have them figured out they throw me a curve. Glad it's not just me.

I'm thinking the location is where they go after feeding in the morning. I'm not sure if we just left too early as we seen several in a field feeding when we left. Going to go back and try it again another day. Way too many around there to ignore. I'll get em one way or another

they will change with the weather,if its sunny they will go far,if visability is limited they will shorten the flights.

We pray for fog on the river.  The crows keep coming to the call even when they can't see.  When they see our owl setup it drives them crazy. Shooting is close and fast.

You probably had a bunch of feeding birds that moved on to something else.
