Hay bail blind

Hey Charles I have used the Hay bail blind before on crows but one word of advice. Be sure to add brush material to it since the crows will flare if the fabric on the blind shines at all. A ground blind such as the power avery hunter works deadly on crows but the hay bail blind works alright if there are some other haybails around.

The TCP has used the hay bale blind before. We didn't care for it because the crows flare hard when you throw the doors open.

We don't care for the ground blinds either for that reason.

We want the crows to be totally unaware of our presence, until gunfire erupts. The movement of the blind doors gives them a couple of seconds to evade, which will reduce the number of doubles and triples you shoot.

I was thinking about one of those hay bale blinds, but was worried about them flaring when you throw them open like Txmatt said.
There really isnt much natural cover at the pistachio farm I hunt. Other than the orchard itself which I wont sit in the orchard. Owner is very worried about us blasting the trees for some reason. (which I dont do, but anyways)

The best way to keep the material from shining is to mud the blind ( spray with water roll in the dirt then put vegetation on)

I bought the eclipse ground blind and thought I had it made. Hell the birds flared it before I popped out the top. They see em boys thats all there is to it Bob pic three is my favorite blind. Unseeable biggrin biggrin I hunted a ditch one time and found a hole in a big log jam. It was awesome. I never did a thing just put deeks out and shot em.. Used it for 3 seasons, then farmer burned it. I then moved to some natural cain that greww along the ditch,,,,,,It worked well but not as good as the log jam biggrin
