remington hulls?

Are the game load hulls the same as the gun club hulls? And are the gun club hulls the same as the nitro hulls. I love the way the nitro's pattern but I want to start reloading and I have a hard time finding those gold hulls cause they blend with the grass and dead leaves and I also shoot a auto so they get spit out in every direction. I have also been throwing my game load hulls away as I thought they were junk. I also thought they had a 8 point crimp and the nitro's had a 6. But this is not the case. All three have an 8 point crimps. But I dont know if they are all the one piece hulls that are supposed to be so reloadable. Also are the express high brass shells good for reloading?

  Thanks

I just bought 500 green Remington STS hulls from a guy named Charlie Tyler in Odessa Florida.... He sells them to you for around 4 1/2 cents a piece plus shipping. I paid $29.82 shipped to my door for once fired hulls in GREAT condition. I would personally recommend contacting him for these hulls.

His website is http://sites.google.com/site/papcharlieshulls/

He doesn't like talking on the phone..... but rather communicate through papcharlie@gmail.com

Just my opinion, but I'd stick to the hulls that have reloading recipes for them. Rem STS are good as are AA old style compression formed hulls. You can get both on gunbroker or I get them at a gunshop that sells reloading supplies.

Troy,
Stick with reloading remington hulls in 12ga. They all load the same with the same data.. all remy game loads, gun clubs, nitro's, nitro 17,sts,and the black unibodies and any of the older blue remington peters and also the blue target loads you can get from gander mountain.
The game loads and gun clubs are very durable hulls and should last through several reloads if you don't load them very hot.I like the gold nitro's in the summer time when grass is green you can see them pretty good and are a great hulls to reload and are made out of the same plastic form as the green slick sts's.

Yes the remingtons are a one piece hull with no seperate basewads like the newer winchesters AA's. To be safe and get more reloads let alone once dialed in on your reloader the remington 8point crimps will all reload with usually no adjustments to the reloader when you get is setup for remy hulls. Some of the game load hulls and sport hulls have 6 point crimps but I always check when purchasing a box while at the store.

Yes the high brass hulls will load with same data as the low brass with the exception of usually a 6 point crimp, however the high brass hulls are a little harder to resize in the deprime and resize station and is the only difference,I would stick with the low brass and load with reputable recipes data on alliant or hodgdens powder web sites, another good reloader book that has recipes is the lyman manuel 5th edition if you don't already have one.
Shaddart is right, gunbroker is a good place to find once fired hulls, look up james pawlika goes by the username " jaypaw " he will fix you right up and with fair prices on all kinds of different hulls and most of all they are clean fresh once fired hulls from the remington factory in Md.

Thank you crohopper thats what i was looking for. Me and a buddy are going to reload together and I had some game load hulls left. We havent got all the stuff to start reloading yet but Im about out of ammo, so I was going to only buy what was reloadable. No sence in buying shells that arent worth reloading if you plan on reloading. Thanks again.
