I went to a new spot with my buddy yesterday and we shot 103 crows. I have never seen anything like it. We had 100 to 200 crows at a time diving in like bombers on our decoys. We would keep shooting and knocking them down and they kept coming. We each went through six boxes of shells and couldn't keep shells in our guns at times. All together I estimate we had over 3000 crows come in on us. It truly was the hunt that I always dreamed of. I can't wait to go again before the season closes here on March 1st. I'm not too computer savy, so I don't know how to post the photos yet, but hope to do so soon.
Congrats Gearly. I can only dream of a day like that. We had our best day ever last Sunday...got 22. The biggest flock of crows I've ever seen in PA is maybe 300-400ish.
Thanks Guys. Man, what a hunt it was. I wish we could do that everytime we went. We are going again today for the last time at that spot since the season closes this Tuesday. Hopefully it will be as good. I hate to go back so soon but we have nothing to lose since this is last chance we will have to go there before the season closes.
