I had a 1 hour window to bust some crows today... so my daughter Abbie and i went back out to celebrate her 4th birthday. We killed 3 birds in 15 minutes....the other 2 fell 50 yards from our set so I pulled the closest bird in for a picture. We ran some motion decoys and the painted dove with moving wings drove the birds crazy!!!!....grrring and low hanging at 10 feet above the painted dove.
Next week I will send the same pic with me, Grandpa and Abbie. We are going out on Saturday...
Here is Abbie with her 7th bird in Michigan since Feb 1. This is our 3rd sit. We would have killed more but she likes to play with sticks and move a bit....after 30 minutes she wanted me to take her to Mcdonalds for that darn happy meal Remember...its all about the kids.
Also Remember...My guns are always unloaded and safe when my kids hold them. And they are being raised with gun safety.

It's not the size of your kill. Its the memories that mean the most
I use my kids as an excuse for Happy Meals too!!! They are great crow bait. I like to see kids with guns. Around here it means someone is teaching responsibility and how to provide for your family. Great job getting that little gal out in the snow.

I'm thinkin she needs a crow costume... she can run around flapping her arms... I had a buddy that did that to his kids, but with snow geese... kids make awesome motion decoys I guess..
