I have two different friends that own SX3s and they have only had them for a year and the other one season. Im looking for a gas gun to shoot clays with. I have a browning gold but I dont shoot it that well and Im looking to trade it. Have any of you guys shot this gun for a while and have either good or bad reports on them? Was gonna get a 390 but have changed my mind. I love the way the SX3 feels and ballances, plus I have several invector plus choke tubes. I do think the SX3 is ugly but not near as bad as the vinci, which I wouldnt take for free if I had to keep and shoot it.

i have shot a SX3 a couple times... I don't know much about the 390 but after using an extrema 2 for a couple of crow seasons I would say go with the beretta. more weight = less recoil
Troy, I've been looking at the SX3 also. I want a gun to use from crows to geese. Weight is the biggest reason for choosing that gun. 8 1/2 lbs. 12ga and a 11 lbs. 10 ga. get heavy after awhile. It would be great if you take a gun for a test ride. I don't know anyone that has one.
I desided to keep the browning gold. I found out you can get those stock shims for the model I own. The sporting models the classic which is what I have and all the newer golds are the ones you can get the shims for. It will be much cheaper to get the one I have to fit me than to trade. I never knew they made the shim kits for them. You shure as heck cant find them anywhere, as I looked at brownells, midway and numrich and nothing. I went to brownings web site and found a 800 number and had to order them from them directly. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, $18.50 shipped. Anyways thanks for your replys.
