Contact info for Mincey call?

I just got a Mincey call from Crowmart and am having problems with it locking up on me. I would like to talk to Jack to see if I am doing anything wrong with it. I cant put my teeth anywhere past the tip (and I mean tip,not even to the cut out groove) or the thing locks up more. I like the call but need to figure out if its the call or me. I dont seem to have any problems with my Gibson. Any pointers out there from you pros or maybe an email address for Jack. When I email Crowmart (staff@crowmart.com) I get a message back that my message was undeliverable. I left a voicemail but havent heard anything back yet.  Thanks

Ron,

Crow calls tend to stick when to much saliva works it's way into the reed area of the mouthpiece, this is more common in cold weather.

Here is the contact number for you to reach Mr. Mincey........ 1-828-293-3156

Thanks Bob. I am guilty of too much moisture alot of time on the calls. I was worse in in the past, I was frequently flown to areas experiencing drought to save the crops.  But this call did it right out of the bag when I got it. Long story short, I had to retune it and it works fine now.

Now if I can just get any of my calls to sound like your Hand Calling Crows CD...

Thanks for your help

Ron,

Just stay with it, you will get there. There are many differen't levels of crow callers same as in shotgunning, tennis, golf and pool etc. The more you practice the better your going to get.

You will experience a great deal of satisfaction once you see the crows coming to you're calling. If you're throat feels sore in the beginning you're going to experience this until you get used to it. As time goes on you're troat tuffins up and you won't even notice it.

Doug from Crowmart called me back and offered to exchange the call, which I appreciated, but I told him everything was working fine now with a retune. He gave me some good advice on working the call and seconded what Bob mentioned above about my geyser mouth (or determined 99% of the problem was me). I appreciated Doug's return call and advice. Very nice to receive that kind of service. Goes along way towards return business. Thanks Bob and Doug

Ron,

I'm glad that you are having better luck with your call. I sent you a message with contact info if you have anymore problems. I think that it had been so long since I logged into crowbusters site that my account had gone dead. I had to start my account over today to answer your questions.

Good Luck,

Jack Mincey
