Out here in Kansas the temps have been between 102 to 105 degrees outside for the past week. We got a cool spell today, it only reached 96 degrees! This is where a good Man Cave comes in very handy.
How many of you guys noticed the crow coffee cup on my desk in the first photo?
Man what a summer here in Kansas, it's 107 degrees out today, saturday, July 16th 2011. The next 6 days is supposed to be between 102 and 106 degrees outside, this damn weather takes away my will to live.......LOL.

Looks like a great place to hang your hat. Here in VA we have had a string of 100+ degree days with a heat index in the 115s. It's cooled off a little this week though. I haven't been posting much because I've been hunting groundhogs all summer. I didn't want to post them on a crow forum. :)
I'm finishing off my basement as we speak and I hope to post up some pictures maybe later this this fall or winter.

Sorry to hear about your heat-wave Bob. It has finally cooled off here in Maine. I just walked out on the porch to look at the Thermometer, it's 62 degrees right now. makes for good sleeping.
It's 68 degrees this morning (8:15 a.m.) as I'm pecking away on the key board.
I'm watching the news to see Governor Rick Perry declare his candidacy in the 2012 presidential race. I have a very good feeling that Governor Perry will be our next president. Obama is a real embarassment, I can't wait until he is outa there!

Bob the GOP field is growing, I am becoming a little confused about who to support, what is your take on Perry, Why do you like him???? Politics is not a good topic for this forum, but I figure if somebody does not like it they dont have to read it
The reason I will vote for Governor Perry is because he knows how to create jobs in this country. There is hundreds of millions of dollars sitting in wait for a new direction in this country.( that is more friendly towards business) The U.S. economy will take off once we have a Commander & Chief who knows how to govern and be a true leader.
Rick Perry came up the hard way, he knows what it takes to move this great nation forward. He has great stature and presence, he is the man in my opinion.

I will start now looking at him and reading about him, I watched the debate the other night It was awseome, It was kinda hard to narrow down a candidate from that debate.

We need the stability that will encourage business and entrepreneurs to invest in new businesses and new employees.
We need to cut the ridiculous regulations and taxes that are currently stifling economic growth. If the people who have money to invest don't know whether or not the government is going to let them keep the money that they might make from their investment, then they will not risk that money.
Don't punish success. Encourage success.
I have been in business for over 35 years, I have yet to have a poor person hire me.
Lower tax rates = people have more disposable income = more people spending money on retail products and investing in businesses = businesses making more stuff = businesses need more employees = more people with jobs = more people paying taxes = more revenue to the government.
It worked for our great country in the 80s, and it will work today.

Then perhaps we can get rid of the EPA, IRS and the ACLU for starters.
Obama care is coming back to bite Obama in the butt, the democrats who made Obama care law didn't even read what they were voting for, and we elect these morons!
If your kids and grandkids are to have the same life we have had then good folks need to take a stand while they still can. How people can be so damn selfish and want to $crew the next two generations that come after them is just beyond me! Those are the kind of folks (like Obama) who think in there own minds "hurray for me and F---k everyone else" this is just wrong and has to stop.

Has anybody been watching the information that has been put out about the infastructure of our countrt's cities??? The thing that really bugs me is that jyou can't buy anything made in America anymore. 90 percent of what you buy is made in china. People have forgotten how Clinton screwed us with NAFTA
