Hello i'm new to this forum and new to hunting so just wanted to know if anyone know a place in the area thinking of trying by canal rd in vernon. waywanda ownes the land there well thanks for any help Mark S

Welcome, you probably will not find someone willing to give away good hunting spots over a public forum board. I may be wrong though.

if't were me, I would be scoping out Wawayanda state park.

And just think about staying on the move.  The few of us in New Jersey are in agreement that there are so few that run and gun is the way of the hunt in New Jeresy August. 

Read my thread about opening day and you will see how sitting still in one spot is not very productive this early in the season.
