nice, early goose & crow opened today in NY also. Didn't get out, but will over the weekend. Whats your limit on geese in Sept. ? I think ours is 12 for sept. then goes to regular fed limits when regular season opens. Not sure about the 12 have to check, can't remember from last year. Great hunt, i'm jealous !

Minn John, Awesome day afield.... I didn't make it out goose hunting today as I couldn't locate any flocks or chopped fields to target... And may head off crow hunting tomorrow, yet 48 shells won't last me as long...So may be a quick hunt..

But a day a field is a blessing anyway we can take it...

Show off. biggrin

I called in birds, ran off other hunters and worked my butt off. I could not get the birds to finish. ??????????????

But if you take the facts of - Openning day, 1st time goose hunting , decoying, calling etc and I was able to pull the birds away from other hunters, I just could not get them to come to land. Not to bad.

Glad to see some one smoked some.
