One halfway decent scoped deer rifle could have caused the invaders some heartburn.

But here is how it would go down,you are shot at by Mexicans,you return fire with your Ar-10 that you had in the truck from a hog hunt. You zap one of the scumbags. The US governmant puts you in jail on assault with a deadly weapons charge,the press plasters the air waves with your name and address, the cartel shows up and decapitates all of your family. The UN goes into emergency session regarding the use of such deadly weapons buy unrully American citezans,they pass a resolution in condemnation of Americans owning any and all firearms. The Obama adminastration will quickly trot out new legislation banning of such weapons,Peta will go after you for shooting hogs the week before,flash mobs will show up at all of your relatives as well as the SCIU union scumbags protesting your use of said firearm and that you are a blood thirtsy killer. no  I still would take the shot!!biggrin

If a fella runs into a life or death situation where you are not in the inner city but way out in the sticks, just leave em lay and keep your mouth shut! Get rid of all the clothing you wore that day, boots too! Change the tires on your truck as well and pick up any emties! This way Uncle Sam has no evidence!

I don't know what happened but understand that El Paso is 600 miles from Dallas!

Not to undermine the capabilities of the US Border Patrol and the local constabulary, I've met enough citizens from El Paso to not be worried. They tend to be of a fierce, independent nature and seem to know their way around firearms.

Dont mess with Texas!! Its not the Texans I worry about it the backstabbing American Gubmint,that will leave you swinging in the wind.Two years ago Mexican Soldiers fired on our Army guys,they were ordered not fire back.

Effective September 1, any Texan can shoot feral hogs from a helicopter!!!  Before then the practice was limited to the Texas Parks and Wildlife boys.  

Gotta find some one with some land and rent a helicopter . . . .

Some people don't understand the Castle law and how it applies to Texas. I would hate for someone to come into my parents house to try to decapitate them They may be 60 but I think they would leave quite a mess being drug out of the house. But I would have to say that some video placed on youtube and sent to the local news stations would be much more beneficial to everyone.

I dont care how many guns you have these drug gangs are vicious,they think nothing of grabbing your kid on his way home from school to make a point,they rule by terror.The presant Administration wants the termoil at the border so they can get as many illegals as voters and the can blame the gun violence on law abiding Americans.

 That is great news for the farmers there. I have been sorta keeping up with it in Texas. Until now the farmers were footing the bill. Now, in stead of a liability for the farmers, it is a income resource for the local guides. The guide services will be able to charge the clients for the removal of the hogs and the farmers wont be out of pocket the $$$. That is using common sense. Glad to hear there are still folks out there that can get things done. Check out the u tube videos of the hog hunting. It is cool.  Big game + volume shooting.biggrin It is a crow hunters dream come true!!biggrinbiggrin

Phil,

Last night I watched an attemped Gatling shotgun being made. After failure the they slapped 3 banana clipped shotguns together in a rotory design, supposedly at 1400 rounds a minute. You put a couple of those babies on the copter and you got boar bacon for the country, well maybe enough for a fellow buster.
