Last week I was going by Dicks Sporting Goods, and wandered in to look at shotguns.I am selling my 11-87 because its to darn heavy for wing shootin and for haulin around the woods for coyotes. I was goose hunting at this spot last week and the crows were working this area pretty good.I took the afternoon off and tried out my new StoegerM2000 auto loader,I got the 24" barrel for yotes, the whole thing cost me $475.00 tax out the door,I burned a bunch of bandits today to try it out,not one jamb with my lite crow loads. Its nice and lite and I wont care if it gets beat up as my callin shotgun. I ended up with 14 out in front and a bunch dropped in the hedge rows around me.
MY BLIND !!! LORD,I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR,BECAUSE POTENTIAL BLIND SPOTS ARE LIMITLESS!!!!!!

You know I love your hide pics,,,, You didn't have to show the dead bandits, I would have believed you without the pics of the dead bandits You boys are killin me and you know it
It shoots only 3" but that is all I use anyway, yes it is a INERTIA DRIVE like my M2,I also have a FRANCHI 620,and the bolt is pretty much the same as the Benelli and Stoeger.

Shane, These are actually made by Benelli. I have been shooting stoegers for a couple of years now and I love them. I have both the m2000 and the new m3500 3.5" semi. I have never had them not cycle.

Isn't that Stoeger a true inertia gun (all springs) like the Benellis and the Franchi is gas assist? I really like how easy it is to tear them down to clean. Takes 30 sesonds to completly disassemble..except for the stock, and they don't get near as dirty so quick.
Your right Doc,my 620 is a gas operated, but the bolt face and locking system is all Benelli. The new Franchi 720 is an Inertia drive shotgun I believe,Gadget Bob has one I am sure he will answer that. When I got my M2 I fired close to 1500 shells before I thought about cleaning it. My Franchi is the same, that thing just keeps shootin.
