A fly way shoot is a guaranteed slaughter here. But you can't really beat a pre dawn raid a mile or so from the roost in early season, Kilt a 111 one mornin befroe 8am it was sweet
Night time with flood-lights on their roost trees!!!! More fun than shooting fish in a barrel. The lights blind them so the crows fly into eachother when the boom-boom of the 12 guages startles them. It is so much fun and guaranteed hundreds of dead, dead, crows!

That would put them through a crash coarse and send them off to another location pronto. IMO much more fun shooting singles and doubles all morning long

I don't believe this fella knows what "fair chase means" it would be no fun for me what so ever. This guy is simply a "roost Hound" I just don't get it how it can be fun flock shooting when it gets to dark to see; plus scaring them all to death. He is only screwing himself, thats one reason the crows have moved into the cities to get away from that kind of stuff!

Roost shooting is what farmers used to do to wholesale slaughter crows. This was when there was a bounty on the feet and dynamite was not out of the question. Several articles over in the vintage section of the Crowbuster website. Not very sporting but very effective at eliminating a roost. Set off the charges, shoot into the roost and use school boys to club to death the stranglers and wounded. Nice.
Reading this fellows other post he is either living in the past or he is just trying to stir you folks up... which he has.
