Called a local pecan producer today and asked for permission to hunt their property. I told him how serious we were and how many we had killed last year. He says "I bet you would like to hunt some crows that haven't been shot at yet. Let me see if I can get you permission to hunt across the road. I will call you back". And he did with the go ahead to hunt a 500 acre pecan orchard!!!!
Then I was on my way to shoot with my hunting partner when I saw the farmers picking cotton on a large section of land I have been eying. I stopped and introduced myself and ask him for permission also. He couldn't give me access to the land he was on as he didn't own it but did give us access to another location! Oh yeah! Two for Two! We also gained access to the city dump last week. This is going to be an awesome year if the Lord is willing and lets us hunt!!!
