We picked 3 more on the walk back to the truck for a total of 48 this morning with a pair of 10ga doubles.  It feels like summer with a forecast of low 80's today and tomorrow but there are some new birds in the area.  It should get better for the next few weeks.

8, I live in New Hampshire, low 80's is the summer norm here. It is not the norm for early October.

hey 8,

Since you made a comment about the weather I gotta call you out on a statement you made in your blind construction thread. You mentioned that you purchased the more expensive sch 80 parts for your blind because they work better in the cold. Mississippi....cold? What size bag of shot did you drop on your head?

lol!

Ya 8!! What do you guys in Ole Miss know about cold!!!!!biggrin

N.H. I would like to see it a little colder,I just am not seeing the volume of birds that I should this time of year.

Also,I have found (2) crows dead. No I was not the culprit!!!biggrinI had a friend find one in his yard in central Mass. I am hoping we are not getting a resurgance of the West Nile!!no
