Again I took another week off to hunt. For the last three days we have had 35 mph sustained winds, with 50 and 60 mph gust. It was 76 degrees yesterday. Morning low 62!!!! Burr Rain all night last night and rain 2mar. I can't catch a break. The birds that I am hunting are acting like it's the middle of febuary. I did get my sentry hanger from Marv in the mail will post pics soon... I have less than 100 birds on the ground. I have lowered myself to duck hunting.... I have officially duck and goose hunted for 40 years this season.......... Some sort of milestone I reckon If I don't get a push of crows here soon I am gonna loose my mind
North Alabama continues to be devoid of any crow concentration (that I can find). A few scattered here and there. My heart goes out to you Chip; i'm singing the blues here.
They are on the way canoe,,,,, I think we had a big push in the last couple days. Birds I got today were young and dumb They must have avoided the yanks that usualy educate them. I am hunting the river 2mar I will be able to tell. Shane its the middle of November and we have had only 1 minor frost. Skeeters ate me alive 2day. I can't remember it being this warm this long in my lifetime.
