Shot with the 2nd cousin again today and had my usual partner along.. Picked up 55.. We set up against the house as we did 3 weeks ago.. Had a great time. enjoy the pics.We did the ususal feeding set up with decoys in tree and on ground.. The Gibson and Falk C-50 did their jobs..
I talked with manger at the local McDonalds where I have seen a lot of crows feeding in the dumpster (a lot of hunters frequent his location) and showed him the pictures about setting up against the house. It turns out the guy is a hunter and wants the crows gone.. He said he would give permission to set up against the back of the restaurant and place decoys over the dumpster. We will set up on early Sunday morning as the drive thru is less frequented.. I'll let you know how we do..
WOW, that is a shocker. I am shocked he is allowing that. Better check with the law, hate to see ya'll get arrested for hunting in the city limits. Assuming you are.
