Crows for Christmas!!

I had the best Christmas ever.  I went out of State to my cousins for the Holiday and they told me before I went that there were alot of crows there.  So I took my crow hunting equipment.  They own a big dairy farm.

So I get there and saw that their property was in a main crow flyway.  Anyway, my cousin and I set up at 2:30 and hunted until 5:00 pm Christmas Day (To the dismay of some relatives) and shot 151 crows.  What a Christmas Gift!!!  It was my personal best for a single hunt.

What a great Christmas it was!!  I will post the pics tomorrow when my cousin emails them to me.  My camera went out on my phone, therefore I couldn't take any.  Can't wait to go back!

Thanks, it was awesome. None of my relatives there are hunters, so I had to supply the extra shotgun and shells. Now I have another hunting spot but it's long drive. Should have the pics up tomorrow.

That is a great hunt by any standards. Congrats! Crows do like a good dairy farm. Too bad none of the family are hunters.no Oh well... more for you when you go backbiggrin. Nice shooting. Post a pic when you can.

hey now that was a great Christmas! awesome.

here's a post I made some time ago that explains how I post photos:

for thumbnails, you can use the image uploader provided in the tool bar in the reply screen.

I prefer to use photobucket. If you use photobucket, copy the img code that they give you after you upload your photo to photobucket, and paste that img code into your post.

Here's a short tutorial that I posted over at the NCPHA forum, to help our members:

Photos need to be 800 x 800 or smaller. Most people use photobucket because it is so easy to use. Here's the short version of how to use photobucket to both upload and resize your photos for posting here.

ok now here's the long version:

go to http://photobucket.com/ and sign up for an account. when you get to the upload page, you'll want photobucket to automatically resize your photo for you when you upload it.

from the upload screen, click "more options":

Click on "800 x 600". that size works best with forums.

click "save," which will take you back to the upload page. click on upload and browse to your photo. when you upload it, photobucket will automagically resize your photo to 800 x 600 or thereabouts.

after it's been uploaded, you'll see a thumbnail of your photo. hover over the photo till you get the code pop-up. copy and paste the "img" code at the bottom of the popup into your post:

that's it!
