I use 15 decoys, very few on the ground and a Foxpro Firestorm caller with 30 Watt external speaker. I usually use an owl decoy as well but not always. I use a Beretta 390 and a Remington 1100 (2 3/4 inch gun only for 1100). I always shoot 1 1/8 ounce 6 shot in 3 1/4 dram for every shot (1255 per second).

When I used to run & gun many years ago all I used was a model 12 20 gauge skeet gun with a 7/8th ounce load of 8's or 9's.

Once I quit handloading 5 or 6 years ago I just use a 12 gauge trap load in 7 1/2's or 8's.

I use the Beretta model 391 in 12 gauge with a 26 inch barrel. My modified choke shoots more like a full choke in both model 391's.

Bob You just cant beat a good old model 12. Got 2 of em. Use them to shoot trap. Just dont have the heart to drag them through the mud chasing after bandits.

Mine is a boat paddle remington super mag with a kicks extended extra full choke, I like shooting crows with remington express long range #5's but have loved shooting the remington Nitro 27's in 8's, as far as decoys I'm just learning and only own two cheap plastic unflocked but will shortly expand my arsenal of decoys.

Ted, that is a nice photo with you and the Bluebills! The model 12 looks very good, very nice buttstock & forearm on that old smoke pole.
