Yup, more in the winter around here than in the summer but nothing compared to the number of shootable birds headed south during the Oct=Nov migration in New England.
I live just at the base of the two big inland lakes in the centre. Winter distribution map show one or less which is quite correct. This is why during the winter months I must enjoy crow shooting through this forum

I've never seen the migration. Are they just flocked up and headed south like waterfowl?
Both, big flocks and headed south. It really cool when they are strung out at altitude and come rocketing down to your spread with the wings pulled back and near terminal velocity before pulling out. If we have a morning where we see high birds strung out at altitude heading south we know we are in for a great shoot and will have to go back to the truck for more ammo before we are through.
That winter map says I don't have enough to even hunt. Lets not tell anyone different, OK.
I wondered how accurate this map was...........
Hey Kev,
Actually, around here it is close. We are just North of one of the concentration lines and there are plenty of crows here. Farther North of here there are very few crows and I have always heard there are no crows in the Delta. Today, I was in the Mississippi Delta and was thinking of this post as I drove through MILES of open fields. NOT A SINGLE crow spotted. Twenty miles East of the Delta I started seeing crows again.

That's cool that it shows accurately for you. It seems to be very accurate here in Maine.
We get our best numbers in the winter season so I would say that map is pretty accurate for the areas we hunt in. I noticed the winter map has huge concentrations based around major cities, at least in MI and surrounding areas. Our experience shows that to be true. We have a good sized flyway in the winter out of a large city that we hunt.
