Does your state have TWO seasons for crow?

Just 14 days until we get to get after those crow for the month of March! This got me to wondering how many states have two seasons for our feathered quarry. In MN we get to hunt em for the month of March then not again until July 15th to Oct 15th.

Tennessee opens June 1 and closes 28 Feb. Friday, Saturday, Sunday only though for hunting.

I never think of hunting crows in the Summer so can't make a comparison to Winter?

I do a lot of crow hunting in the summer season only because one of my hunting buddies is a teacher like me. We have tons of time in the summer.biggrin

It's interesting those of you that can only hunt on certain days! I wonder how they dreamed that one up? We generally have about the same number of crow come in in the summer as we do in March. It's aways good when March comes around to get some crow hunting in after not being able to shoot any since Oct! We were more of a Run n Gun type of crow hunters but recently we have set up close to county landfills or feeding areas and stayed there for most of the day. Both have yielded a good number of crow. Last March my buddy and I got 400 in March....we aiming to beat that this yr.

I wish that my state would go to a year-round season with days of Thurs/Fri/Saturday.
