Im from western pa and me and my buddy have been trying to decide wheather or not we should get in a few crow hunts coming up. My question is on average how many crows do people usually get during theses hunts? whats the count on the average winners crow kills? i know this is a hard question to answere because it could be anything. we kill around 15 crows when just me and him go out in one day. Is it worth signing up? we just started hunting these past 2 months so dont know much about the crow hunts.
I'd enter, if you guys are getting 15 just starting out, you're not doing bad. This has been a tough season in upstate NY with the mild winter. Not as many migrating birds, I assume the same conditions are happening in PA, have fun.
I would sign up, we get in a few crow hunts every winter here in Pa, and on average I would say most of the hunts 10-15 guarantees you a spot in the top 3.........a few of the hunts you have to have 20+ to win, but it is worth giving them a try......
