Here are a few photos of Sunday morning set up I took while waiting for the morning frog to burn off. I think it was a nice set up I’m still working on making it better. I had three decoys set up in the corn field and at one point threw out an owl decoy out lying on its side with the three crow decoys around it. I was trying to set up a fight scene which worked but not great
Next time I’d like to have more sound options on my caller and my 12ga instead of the 20ga. I’m not the greatest wing shooter but can and do get the job done once I settle down. So like working on my set ups, I guess wing shooting is another thing I need practice with. I’m ended up calling my Sunday hunt a “scouting and shooting lane clearing” trip for my next hunt
My shooting stand is tucked in the pines.
My north end tree decoy
My east side tree decoy
Another one of the tree decoys with shooting position right in the middle of the pines.

45ft of green 50# test ice fishing braided line and large 3"caribbean Just unwrap the line around the decoy and toss the caribbeaner up and over a limb.
When I'm done, I lower the decoy and unclip the caribbeaner from a loop on the end of the line. Grab the decoy and start pulling the line out of the tree and wrap it all up on the decoy for the next time out
