Some are a lil dark, and we only bagged a couple of crows, as it was right at the tail end of the season...or the best part of it. I had many great hunts as the snow was leaving the fields. One hunt I was on, I brought the last 10 lead shot I had. Low brass #6's....and pounded 8 crows that morning.
2 crow decoys, and mouth calling. The seem to have responded better to mouth calling then a call. That was a fast hunt.
Like I said...this hunt was at the tail end of the best part of the season. Me and a buddy did not bad and could have done better if we could have put lead on the birds. . Me in the pic below. These were in 2002
