Some are a lil dark, and we only bagged a couple of crows, as it was right at the tail end of the season...or the best part of it. I had many great hunts as the snow was leaving the fields. One hunt I was on, I brought the last 10 lead shot I had. Low brass #6's....and pounded 8 crows that morning.

2 crow decoys, and mouth calling. The seem to have responded better to mouth calling then a call. That was a fast hunt.

Like I said...this hunt was at the tail end of the best part of the season. Me and a buddy did not bad and could have done better if we could have put lead on the birds. nobiggrin. Me in the pic below. These were in 2002

Nice home made deeks. How do you find the performance of silhouettes when compared to full bodied type decoys?

I haven't used them that much...so I couldn't give you an honest evaluation. But..they worked pretty good this day....
