Drove out to one of my blinds this morning for a few hours. Clear, cold and very calm. Dusted a few with the 16 gauge at first light and shortly there after the crows began using altitude to their advantage, thus the 16 didn't cut it.
Broke out the "Big 12", my M12 trap choked full and proceeded to drop more crows. Crows arrived at all angles as there was no wind to keep their flight path true. While twisting to get a bead on one I managed to pepper one of my Boondocker deeks with pellets.
Packed up at coffee time with only 10 kills and sadly about that many missed. The spring migration flight seems to be dropping off as well.
I was on a set last weekend, had my Fox Pro in a short tree about 20 yards ahead of me. A crow made a low pass and I almost shot my Fox Pro. .......Don't plan to set up like that again......

No extra points for decoys
