Hot weather hunt.

I have access to a cattle farm. The farm has ponds all over it. Many are clean as they can be around the edges where the cows come in to water. Crows are legal here year round.

Seems to be a fair amount of crows in the area. What time of day would be best to set up on one of the ponds to hunt them? I normally hunt a food source in the morning but I thought this might be better mid day. Just because they would be more abt to want water then. Does that sound reasonable?

I hunt in June and July, but never over a water hole. I run the lake bed and normally shoot them in the morning. About lunch time it drops off.

Sounds good to me, heck give it a try.
