He was at Dirt Cheep the other day and found a golf counter that scores "putts and strokes". It has two counters that keeps the tally of strokes verses putts. He had to give a whole $.75 for this thing. He then tells me that next year he will be keeping score! Last season we only used one clicker to count all birds that were killed. I was a little taken back by this move. You see, neither of us cares even a little bit who kills the most birds, just that we kill all we can and have as much fun as possible.
Well, here is the twist, he is going to keep up with the misses, NOT THE KILLS! He said he was going to scratch out putts and strokes and write in himself and me. I told him to leave it be. I would be "strokes" and he can be "putts". He liked that idea.
This should make for some great laughs next season!!
