Got a Box-Elder Burl call from Darrell this week...as I was looking at this awesome crow call...I could see the figure of a wolfs head in the wood...and with me being a big NC State Wolf-Pack fan ( for those of you that are not familiar with North Carolina college teams...NC State is the team that beats UNC every year in football ) I was thrilled...and was curious to see if anyone else could find the wolfs head....Crowtec
Crowtec: That IS one fine looking call. Unique, to say the least.
One thing about Gibson that sets him apart from many other crow call makers is his continious pursuit of perfection. I doubt a day goes by that somewhere in his mind he is not thinking about how to figure out how...to make the call better. He is relentless.
A second aspect of Gibson's product..that is probably less known, is the fact he stands behind it forever. If you have a problem..cannot tune it... reed or mouth piece breaks.. let him know and he repairs or relpaces asap..no charge. Like my shotguns and my rifles, Gibson calls are better than the person using them. We just need to figure out how to get the best out of each. If you cannot hit the target or call a crow.. you know it is not your equipment!
Me, I try them all, and always have at least 3 or 4 with me.
Could you give me an email or a web page where I can order a Gibson crow call please ?
Thanks
Ray

An awsome call is the FT3 from Sam Neyt in belgium, one of if not THE BEST crow call around. I just ordered one, as it's been updated from model FT2 to FT3. You can get it from www.wildlandsshop.com, and they also have the Nordic Crow call too, whhich is quite good. You can never have enough crow calls, as the crows seem to learn the sounds of calls very quickly, and then avoid them if you miss with a shot !!
